The constitution of Soroptimisim is closely followed throughout Europe and America. Membership is through invitation, members must be nominated for membership and then voted in. There are certain categories for membership which are followed. Each potential new member is requested to attend two club socials and one business meeting as an observer before joining. Members must attend at least five business meetings in the year in order to nominate and vote at the AGM.
